Amber & Stuart – Spain Destination Wedding | The Photography Boutique

Amber and Stuart’s destination wedding in Spain was everything you’d hope for; sunshine, laughter and a relaxed celebration surrounded by their favourite people.

From the excitement of the morning preparations to dancing under the warm evening sky, their day was full of beautiful, natural moments that perfectly reflected who they are as a couple.

Set against the backdrop of golden light and open countryside, their wedding felt more like a holiday than a formal event. Guests laughed, music played into the evening and the whole day unfolded in the most effortless way...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SALLY WAS INCREDIBLE. SHE TOOK THE STRESS AWAY FROM GETTING ALL THE PHOTOS I WANTED. SHE WAS PATIENT BUT FIRM ENOUGH TO ORGANISE A LARGE CROWD OF PEOPLE AND MADE ME FEEL AT EASE BEHIND THE CAMERA, WHICH IS DEFINITELY OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

OUR WEDDING PHOTOS AND FILM ARE INCREDIBLE. YOU CAPTURED THE MOMENTS AND EMOTIONS PERFECTLY AND GOT ALL THE PHOTOS WE WANTED.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SALLY TO ANYONE.

How did you meet?

Tinder. The picture of his dog sealed the deal!

Tell me about the proposal.

We basically reenacted our first date - the proposal was on our anniversary. We had breakfast in Brighton, we did mini golf, we went to the Grand Hotel for a glass of champagne and then went for a walk. It was raining so we went to the band stand and he got down on one knee.

What moment from your wedding day stands out the most?

I think it was our Vows. I just forgot anyone else was there. It was just us in the moment.

How did you feel just before walking down the aisle?

I felt a bit nervous, excited and hot - it was in the high 20s!

What part of the day surprised you the most?

I loved having all our friends in different groups together and everyone getting on and having the best time.

What did you enjoy more than you expected?

As a destination wedding, it was strange before and after the wedding seeing our friends and family wandering around the Spanish town that we've been to many times before.

Who cried the most?

Stuart obviously. I did shed a few tears

What was your favourite part of the day?

I really enjoyed the speeches. And dancing with everyone.

Any funny or unexpected moments from the day?

Funny yes. A guest missed the ceremony because of an 'incident' in the bar before leaving. An outfit change and a taxi later, and he arrived in time for the reception!

Why did you choose your venue?

On paper this was my least favourite option but my husband’s favourite. When we got there, we just knew it was perfect. The views and the space were amazing. I really liked that the whole day was at the same venue. And we finished the night in the pool!

Would you recommend a planner?

100% YES! Being a destination venue, Caz was indispensable in the build up and on the day.

What made you choose me as your photographer?

I knew you were very calm but firm enough to line everyone up. Also, seeing your previous pictures just showed how soft and natural the photos could be.

How did you find being photographed on the day?

We were really impressed with how relaxed we felt behind the camera, which neither of us were expecting. It was a long day but the photos were beautiful all throughout the day. I couldn’t ask for more.

Do your photos feel how you remember the day?

There is such a variety of photos, people and times throughout the day. I’m so happy you captured the whole day in photos and film. The family photos are wonderful and we were super impressed with the photos of us ~ they really captured who we are and our personalities.

Any advice for future brides?

~ It’s your day! Don’t feel bad for who you do and don’t invite.
~ Don’t stress over the little things and do not leave your husband's / wife’s side as the day goes so quickly. We had 10 mins after the ceremony to sit and have some canapés just us two, which was lovely.
